Designs, implements, manages, and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.

Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.

Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices.

Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

Prepares and reviews contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.

Oversees all activities related to procurement of a commodity, from intent to purchase through delivery of commodity.

Assigns procurement requests to the appropriate personnel.

Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors.

Arranges for disposal of surplus materials.

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university along with 5 – 7 years related experience in an EMS environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with Lean enterprise and/or the DMAIC Process a plus.

 
 
 
Quality Engineer   Apply for Position

Summary Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality control and quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Identify quality trends and take the necessary steps to resolve quality issues, with a focus on root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.

Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.

Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of the assigned product or component.

Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.

Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.

Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.

Reviews all purchased products or components and provides input to the decision to accept the product and future purchases from the vendor.

Documents data obtained during all quality activities consistent with company policies and procedures.

Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities.

Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.

Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality activities.

Prepares and presents technical and program information to team members and management.

Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards.

Requirements

B.S. degree along with 3 – 5 years of related work experience in an electronics environment and the ability to multi-task.

Six Sigma certification and familiarity with SMT preferred.

Experience with ISO9001:2000 and IPC-610 is required.  Working knowledge of J-001 STD and AS9100 is a plus.

Must be proficient in MS Office.

The ability to motivate others along with strong communication and project management skills are also required.

Job Description

Only those candidates with 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Services “EMS” or Contract Manufacturing industry experience shall be considered.

Senior Systems Technology, Inc. is looking for a dynamic Program Manager who will be responsible for overall customer service and satisfaction including delivery, quality, flexibility, communication and responsiveness for assigned key accounts. This person will be instrumental in serving as the advocate for assigned customers and represents Senior Systems Technology in most management communications with the customer.

The incumbent’s responsibilities will include but is not limited to new product introduction, engineering changes, delivery, quality trends and any other performance issues, as well as the general business relationship with the customer. The Program Manager will work to ensures that performance on the key metrics meets the customer requirements and that all information necessary from the customer to meet their expectations is provided in a timely manner.

This person will provide coordination of activities between client and company personnel and will serves as the mediator to internal issues and conflicting priorities for members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products to clients. Additional responsibilities will be to monitor project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections.

Skills

Summary Troubleshoots defective printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies by performing the following duties.

Test customer assemblies per test procedures.

Maintain individual log book of test results.

Perform troubleshooting on failed products. Give instructions to Rework Operator.

Perform other related duties, as necessary.

Requirements

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; along with three plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have at least 3 – 5 years of experience troubleshooting PCB's to the component level and be able to read/interpret digital & analog schematics.
