Harsh Karande joined Senior Systems in early 2010 as Vice President of Quality, Engineering and Program Management. Harsh is a quality/reliability, operations and manufacturing executive with extensive experience in continuous improvement, lean and six-sigma techniques, managing multi-site and offshore (own and ODM/EMS) operations, and quality/reliability engineering for the wireless and optoelectronic communications, and electro-mechanical consumer product industry.
Harsh has led US and international multi-site/operations, managing various cultures and diversities with revenues ranging from $50M to $1B+, company wide implementations of ISO 9001 and championed implementation of TQM programs. He has deployed Six Sigma practices such as SPC, FMEA, DOE, QFD and used advanced productivity techniques to drive improvement at all stages of product life cycle management in such companies as Packard Bell, Qualcomm and Kyocera Wireless.
At Kyocera Wireless, Harsh‘s latest role was as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Service Operations. Prior to that as their Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, Harsh had managed a staff of 6 Directors and an employee base of 2,400+ across 2 Kyocera Wireless facilities and 2 Contract Manufacturers.
Harsh holds an MS in Engineering Management Science from Wichita State and a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Bombay University. He is a senior member of American Society for Quality, ASQ and was ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, CQE and also Certified Reliability Engineer, CRE. |
